Until App Store & Google Play

Add Loved Scents to your device

Get a home screen shortcut that opens Loved Scents full-screen — like an app — while we finish the native iOS and Android releases.

Use Safari — Chrome and other browsers on iOS cannot add home screen shortcuts with the app icon.

  1. 1
    Open lovedscents.com in Safari

Sign in if you have an account so your Top 8 and wishlist stay synced.

  2. 2
    Tap the Share button

It is the square with an arrow pointing up — at the bottom on iPhone or top on iPad.

  3. 3
    Choose Add to Home Screen

Scroll the share sheet if needed. You can rename the shortcut to Loved Scents.

  4. 4
    Tap Add

The Loved Scents icon appears on your home screen and opens full-screen without the browser bar.

Native apps are coming. This shortcut is a bridge until Loved Scents is on the App Store and Google Play. Your account, Top 8, and listings work the same in the browser and the shortcut.

Phone says “not safe” or blocks install?

That warning usually means one of these — here is the fix:

  • Use the home screen shortcut (above) — it is served over HTTPS from lovedscents.com. No APK file download. This is the recommended method until the App Store and Google Play launch.
  • Do not install random APK files — Google Play Protect flags beta APKs downloaded from email or third-party links as unsafe. Loved Scents does not ask you to bypass Play Protect for normal use.
  • “Built for an older version of Android” / missing privacy protections — you are installing a downloaded APK file, not the web shortcut. Uninstall any old “Pre Loved Scents” app, then use the home screen shortcut steps above (Chrome ? Add to Home screen). That path does not show this warning. If you must install a beta APK, tap More details ? Install anyway — Android shows that message for all apps not from Google Play.
  • Android “Harmful app” — if you sideloaded an old test APK, uninstall it and use the lovedscents.com shortcut instead. In Chrome: menu ? Add to Home screen while on this site.
  • iPhone — add the shortcut only from Safari on lovedscents.com (Share ? Add to Home Screen). Other browsers on iOS cannot add the app icon correctly.
  • Still stuck? Contact support and say whether you are on iPhone or Android — we will walk you through it.
